Andrew Mercer

Partner & Head of the Family Team
Andrew is one of Trethowans’ most experienced Solicitors. Qualifying as a Solicitor in 1989, Andrew became a Partner with the Firm in 1995, joining the Management Board in 2003 and being named Chairman in 2009.

Grant Cameron

Grant is an Accredited Specialist Family Lawyer, with accreditations in private law children and advanced financial provision. He also trained as a Collaborative Lawyer in 2007, and an all-issues Mediator in 2010, adding a number of sought-after strings to his bow.

Emma Wilders-Pratt

Emma is a Partner in the family team and a trained Collaborative Lawyer who specialises in all aspects of family law and relationship breakdown, to include divorce, financial disputes between spouses and cohabitants, private law children cases and pre and post-nuptial settlements.

Juliet Mayhew

Juliet is a Partner and Family Mediator, specialising in all aspects of family law and relationship breakdown. As a member of Resolution, Juliet’s aim is to resolve financial and child related issues in a sensible, non-confrontational and cost effective way.

Kimberley Davies

Kimberley Davies

Senior Associate
Kimberley is a senior associate and family mediator, specialising in all aspects of family law.  She qualified in 2009 and joined Trethowans in May 2017.

Kate Stovold

Kate is a Family Law Solicitor, and has been with Trethowans since June 2014.  She was promoted to an Associate in May 2016.  Before joining the Firm, Kate trained at a regional practice in Surrey and was inducted into their Family Law department in September 2012.

Dawn Gore

Paralegal and Certified Family Law Assistant
Having first joined in 1987, Dawn is a longstanding Paralegal and Certified Family Law Assistant working in the Family Team here at Trethowans.  Dawn obtained a Paralegal Diploma in Family Law in 2000, and in 2007 she passed an ITC course in Family Law and Practice with distinction.  She is a Tier 3 member of the Professional Paralegal Register and specialises in the arrangements for children following parental separation or divorce.  She has particular expertise in cases of a complex nature.

Emma Humby

Legal Secretary
Emma joined Trethowans in 1999 working predominantly as a Legal Secretary within the Family Team from her first day with the Firm.  Emma passed her Paralegal Diploma in Family Law in 2001 and provides invaluable support to the Family Team.

Charlotte Gee

Legal Secretary
Charlotte first joined Trethowans in 2007 and has been working as part of the Family Team since 2008. She qualified as a paralegal in July 2012, and is a member of the Society of Specialist Paralegals.

Sara Willis

Legal Secretary
Sara has been a Legal Secretary since September 2013 and joined Trethowans in 2015. Sara passed her Paralegal Diploma in Family Law in June 2014.

Laura Sargent

Legal Secretary
Laura is a legal secretary in the Family Team where she provides invaluable support to members of the Team and their clients.  Trethowans has always had a special place in Laura’s heart as her late grandfather worked as an accounts clerk for Woodford & Ackroyd, who merged with Trethowans in October 1996 and she is delighted to be carrying on in his footsteps.
